Diwali Dil Wali – Kind Hearted Act – Feedback

Diwali Dil Wali – Kind Hearted Act: Different Ways people gave Back To Society this Diwali.

People are doing their effort, it should be counted so that we see an increase in effort next time.

Deepawali, the festival of lights, more popularly known as Diwali, is one of the most enthusiastically celebrated festivals in India. A sense of excitement fills you when you walk on the streets.

There are bright houses all over, covered with lights and decorations. You will find everyone wearing new clothes and greeting each other with sweets and gifts. We Indians celebrate everything with more color and life.

Diwali is symbolic of the victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance.

And it was such a feeling to see how people acted true to the theme of this festival. There were many small and big groups who celebrated their Diwali in a most noble way.

 1. Students donated clothes to underprivileged

It is good to see the younger generation participating actively. Students of many schools collected clothes and distributed the same to the underprivileged. Other than giving away old clothes, some were seen gifting the new clothes to them as gifts.

2. Awareness about Food

Festivals call for a lot of cooking, and sometimes most of it goes to waste. While you will be over-cooking for friends, family, and relatives, there are so many people who will be holding their stomachs in hunger.

I was happy to see people more aware of the surroundings. They were alaert about the wastage of food.

3. Firecrackers, I can hear them!

People were more alert about not using crackers after 10 pm. There is a scope of a lot of improvement, still each little effort should be counted. Not everyone was vigilant about the noise created by the fire crackers, still the number is increasing. Thanks to the climate and the awareness among people, pollutants in the air is also less.

4. Diya back in action

Awareness among the people and the efforts done by state government to increase the purchase of Diya, indian clay lamps was a conscious step towards betterment of Diya makers. It also boosted the Eco Friendly approach to celebrate Diwali.
